Created for Bovey Tracy Craft Festival, these pieces were developed to showcase the natural materials, textures and colours of thatching.

The three pieces each represent a unique shape and style, with two being thatched using combed wheat reed and one with fine water reed. The pieces were on display over the weekend as wall hangings to create a wall decorations within a space of natural making and products, while also inherently providing acoustic dampening to the environment.

Made from soley natural materials the pieces, were dissembled and re-used or composted upon the completion of the festival.
